We know how a needle injection works, but how does a jet injection work? A needle injection delivers medication into the dermis by inserting a needle directly into the body. Jet injection works very differently.
The MDerma.Jet™ device fragments a bioactive solution into micro droplets, delivered onto the skin surface at extremely high velocity through a needle-free syringe. This creates the pressure that drives active ingredients below the surface of the skin into the dermis. This is a focused stream directed at the skin surface, with no needle contact required.
Transdermal Pressure Delivery.
The force of the micro-droplets alone generates enough pressure to drive the active ingredients below the skin surface and into the dermal layer at exactly 2.2mm to 2.3mm. The handpiece is moved across the lip or treatment area, delivering active ingredients to treat, enhance and improve the skin.
With the AirLips Plumping Protocol, the syringe targets the body of the lips as well as the fine lines around the vermillion border. There is no bruising risk associated like there is with needles, and clients can return to their day straight away.
